The Press Council of the Republic of Moldova is a national structure for self-regulation of the activities of mass media institutions and journalists in the Republic of Moldova, based on the provisions of the Code of Ethics of Journalists in the Republic of Moldova .
The Press Council of the Republic of Moldova was founded on October 1, 2009, based on a memorandum of understanding, signed by six public associations active in the fields of mass media, human rights, and social development.
